LOCAL STARTUP SCENES
Through international exchange, this pilot aims to increase the level of innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship in the regions of Österbotten and Västerbotten.
Local Startup Scenes is an international pilot run by project owner Yrkesakademin, Österbotten, together with Nykarleby Innovation Center in Nykarleby, Österbotten, and The Great Northern in Skellefteå, Västerbotten.
The aim of this pilot is to compose concepts to develop local startup scenes, to exchange experiences and to immerse ourselves with best practices on how to promote the level of innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship in both regions.
Yrkesakademin have great experience of project ownership and will act as coordinator and driving actor throughout this pilot. Nykarleby Innovation Center opened their coworking space in 2019 and is just in the beginning of their journey. The Great Northern is a house for innovative ideas and creative minds, a meeting place and a community of entrepreneurs, startups, established business, incubators and even more.
