Join Northern Sweden’s Biggest Game Jam!

Get ready to create at one of the most unique and cosy Global Game Jam sites in the world – we’re excited to welcome you back to Jörn!

From Friday through Sunday, let your creativity thrive in the beautiful, snowy landscapes of Jörn in Skellefteå Municipality. Hosted at the Jörn Experience Hotel, our jam site offers everything from a cosy fireplace to darts, bowling, and a bar in the evenings.

Here, you’ll not only make games but also enjoy an inspiring blend of work and winter wonderland.

2024 made headlines in various media, and we welcomed people from all over Scandinavia to Jörn:

Justyna went from interaction designer to game designer, and she’s on a mission to make games that players fall in love with! As a Women in Games Ambassador, she’s all about championing inclusive workplaces where everyone can bring their quirks. When she’s not crafting stories, you’ll find her with her nose in a book on psychology, leadership, or whatever makes teams and UX tick!

Standard Ticket – 150 SEK(For access to the 3 day event, no accommodation included)

Shared Hotel Room – 600 SEK (Two-night stay in a shared hotel room; limited availability)
Sports Arena Sleeping – 100 SEK (Two-night stay in the sports arena; bring your own sleeping bag, blanket, pillow and mattress)
Sports Arena Sleeping + Air Mattress Rental – 200 SEK (bring your own sleeping bag, blanket, pillow, includes air mattress rental; hand pump provided)

Equipment: Wired and Wi-Fi internet are provided – don’t forget your network cable for smooth jamming!

Food & Drinks: Enjoy free energy drinks from Latitude 65 throughout the event. We’ll provide basics like fruit and sandwiches, but you’ll need to cover other meals yourself.

Travel Coordination: Connect with others on Discord for travel planning.

Skill Level: Everyone’s welcome – whether you’re an experienced jammer or just starting out. Come create, learn, and have an unforgettable time!
