Innovators' Club presents: Norm-creative innovation

Challenge your thinking and find new ideas that work better for everyone with this norm-creative innovation lecture and workshop with ‘design doctor’ Åsa Wikberg Nilsson of LTU at midday on September 21 at The Great Northern in Skellefteå.

The lecture and workshop will provide concrete tools and hands-on methods for anyone who wishes to achieve norm-creative solutions - that is, solutions that are inclusive, accessible and sustainable.

Products, services, environments and other solutions today limit many people because they are created based on a too narrow understanding of their situations and underlying needs.

One reason is that there is often a lack of knowledge of how norms and values influence the results of innovation- and development work.

A norm-creative perspective can help us see, and change, constraining structures and norms instead of trying to make individuals fit the mold.

By understanding the constraints and invisible rules that exclude certain groups, you can develop services and products that attract and work for more people.

Åsa Wikberg Nilsson has been teaching design methods and design processes for 15 years and has practiced design work in various forms and projects for more than 20 years.

1200, September 21, The Great Northern.
