Multiplayer-magi i Skellefteå

Utvecklare, kreatörer och innovatörer samlades nyligen i Skellefteå för Arctic Game Multiplayer Jam – ett tredagarsevenemang fyllt med prototyper, lärande och samarbeten. Tillsammans med Photon Engine, Gold Town Games och Try New Things låg fokus på möjligheterna med multiplayer-spel och verktygen som gör dem möjliga.

Stort intresse för tekniken bakom AI

Under onsdagsfrukosten på Skellefteå Co-creation Hub samlades cirka 30 deltagare för att höra David Degerfeldt, Lead AI Architect på Sherpas, berätta om artificiell intelligens (AI) ur ett tekniskt perspektiv. Föreläsning gav en djupare förståelse för hur AI och språkmodeller fungerar och hur teknologin kommer att påverka vårt sätt att arbeta och kommunicera.

Den 10 juni 2025 invigs Skellefteå Droneport – en drönarflygplats som blir en central plats för utveckling, forskning och utbildning av drönarrelaterade lösningar. Här kommer både lokala och globala aktörer att kunna samlas för att testa, utveckla och kommersialisera drönartjänster.
